I've had cats around me my entire life. In our house, we always had cats and kittens of all stages running around, making trouble (and looking adorable). To entertain the kitties, we made little toys out of recycled junk. We used to go "cat fishing" by attaching something as a weight to an end of a string and then attaching that to a long stick, preferably a fishing pole if we had one around. I became quite skilled at "cat fishing." After getting the knack of it, I was able to get the rambunctious kitties to do all kinds of fun jumps, flips, and skids across our floor. In this picture, my mom has captured the attention of three such kitties and certainly is about to go for a delightful round of "cat fishing." - Clara
